New Business Wins, Charity Fundraisers and Christmas Planning Make for a Busy Month

October 21, 2026

September was another strong month for Progressive PR, with the team delivering targeted media and influencer campaigns across its diverse range of tourism, toys, and not for profit clients.

‍

This Spring, the tourism and attractions team within Progressive PR worked on the launch of Sea Creature Rescue Squad at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast and SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium, supported by targeted family influencer engagement across Queensland and New Zealand.

‍

In Auckland, Progressive PR secured a live segment on The Today Show focused on SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s turtle rehabilitation program and its work caring for rescued sea turtles, while SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast launched its new Sensory Room, securing coverage across TV, radio and print, including 7 News, Noosa Today and Seniors Today.

‍

Together, these campaigns provided an opportunity to showcase SEA LIFE’s school holiday experiences alongside the important work taking place behind the scenes; from marine conservation and animal rehabilitation to creating more inclusive experiences for guests. This approach helped build a broader narrative around the attractions, connecting their guest offering with the purpose and impact at the heart of the brands.

‍

During Foster Care Week, Progressive PR led media relations for the national awareness campaign, securing coverage across the Herald Sun, Wimmera Mail-Times and Women’s Day. Adding to its extensive range of not-for-profit clients, the team also led media relations for Inuka Community, securing coverage of their School-to-School programme on SBS News and helping bring greater attention to its work supporting communities to break the cycle of poverty.

‍

It didn't stop there! The Progressive PR team also delivered influencer relations for the Melbourne launch of Chef Ready at Entrecôte, generating strong social engagement and visibility. Following the success of the Melbourne event, the team has been engaged to support the upcoming Sydney launch. Watch this space!

With Christmas campaigns well underway, the team are busy preparing influencer activity for its extensive range of toy clients including Just Play, Jazwares, IMC, VTech and LeapFrog,  with product seeding and campaign planning well underway.

‍

Cementing our position as the leading toy PR agency in Australia, Progressive PR was recently engaged by Vegesaurs to deliver a targeted gifted campaign to promote the launch of its toy range. Over three weeks, the campaign secured influencer coverage across Instagram and TikTok, reaching 161,000 people and generating two million impressions.

‍

Progressive PR farewelled interns Leanne Allen and Olivia Rich this month, who both made a valuable contribution to the team during an especially busy period. Their time at Progressive PR provided hands-on experience across a broad range of client campaigns, from media relations and research to day-to-day agency activity.

‍

As an agency, Progressive PR is committed to giving university students meaningful, practical experience and an opportunity to develop their skills in a real agency environment. Interns are an important part of the Progressive PR team, and it’s particularly rewarding to see many of those who have started their careers with us as interns go on to become permanent members of the team.

‍

With the final quarter well underway, Progressive PR continues to build momentum across its growing client portfolio into the busy Christmas period.
