Gumbuya World

Victoria’s newest and biggest amusement park, Gumbuya World is home to a Water Park, Wildlife Park and two ride and attraction zones.

The vision of a group of Victorian entrepreneurs, Gumbuya World is a re-imagining of the original 1978 theme park that they enjoyed when they were young. Recreated with the intention of leaving a legacy for future generations, Gumbuya World has become a leading local and tourist destination with several attractions including the Oasis Springs water park, a Wildlife Trail home to 52 species of mostly Australian fauna, and the Oz Adventure and Outback Explorers ride and attraction zones.

Progressive PR & Communications were tasked with supporting the re-imagining and official opening of Gumbuya World and generated awareness through extensive media coverage across metro and regional TV, print, radio and digital.
