LIFE’S LITTLE TREASURES FOUNDATION - WALK FOR PREMS 2021

 

OUR CHALLENGE

PPR&C was tasked to deliver a PR campaign around Australia for Life’s Little Treasures Foundation and their annual Walk for Prems.

Coverage was designed to inspire more Australians to take part in a physical Walk for Prems where relevant or to donate to Australia’s foremost charity dedicated to supporting the families of the 48,000 babies born sick or premature in Australia each year.

OUR RESPONSE

PPR&C proposed a campaign that focused on compelling stories of families and their premmie babies to highlight the events and give media a simple and heartfelt way to tell the story to their audiences.

Physical locations of the Walk for Prems also provided media with a hook for their stories.

OUR OUTCOMES

The campaign which commenced Thursday 16 September, 2021, and finished Monday 25 October, 2021 reached an audience of 2,551,294 and had an advertising space rate of over $640,060 AUD.

 Highlights included a Herald Sun front page story on Saturday 23 October, another story in the Herald Sun on Friday 22 October, Studio 10, Courier Mail, extensive radio and newspaper stories across Australia in the lead up to the Walk for Prems and multiple TV news stories in capital cities across Australia on Sunday 24 October, the day of the Walk for Prems per stories across rural and regional Australia.
